Dunlop heads for Valencia 250 GP PDF Print E-mail

williamdunlopulster25009.jpgWilliam Dunlop will take part in next months Gran Premio Generali De La Comunitat at Valencia after taking up the offer to take part at last weekends Sunflower Trophy Races.
Dunlop, who will ride the trusty PJ Flynn 250cc Honda will have Mark Kelly as his right hand man at the event, one in which Dunlop says is a dream come true.
Then, one week later, William will take part in the Supersport 600 round of the Spanish Championships on the Veidec Racing Honda CBR600R which has been campaigned on all season by Robbin Harms in the World Supersport Championships.

William Dunlop:  "This is really like a dream come true for me.  To get a ride in a World 250GP Race is very daunting, frightening in fact, but also extremely exciting.    I got the news last Friday evening that I had been excepted to ride in the World round, and once I heard it my legs went like jelly.  I did not push the races at the Sunflower to hard as I had this event in the back of my mind and I did not want to fall off and jeopardise the whole trip.    Also, one week later, while I am in Spain, I will be taking in the Spanish round of the Supersport 600 Championships also at Valencia, where I will be riding the Veidec Racing Honda that Robbin Harms has ridden in the World Supersport Championships in 2009.    I will be away for about three weeks in total, so I have just to finalise the boats from here to France, and then the long drive down to Valencia after that.   Brian McCormick is going to lend me his lorry for the trip, so I am very grateful to him for allowing me its use.   Chances like this don't come round that often, well, probably never again to be honest, so its my aim to make the best of them both".
