Written by Administrator

Wednesday 7 May 2008. Martin will make his final journey to Lusk church, leaving his home at approx 1.30 PM for a 2.00 PM service. The church will be for the immediate family circle only, and any seats unused can be used by his supporters. The grave yard will be cordoned off until he is laid to rest, and only after this you can visit his resting place.

Car parks will be open from 10.00 AM. With the expected large attendance additional parking facilities have been made available:

  • Lusk National School close to the church on Chapel Lane can accommodate Bikes only in the playgrounds. There is no access for cars due to restrictions at the entrance.
  • Next to Lusk National, the playing field at the rear of the Scout Den will accommodate Cars.
  • St. Maccullin’s Park/Round Towers GAA club have made their playing field available for parking.
  • There is also parking in Lusk Soccer Club on Station Road approx 400 meters from the Church and in the main Murray’s Car Park on the Square.

Garda will be in attendance in the Village directing traffic and all through traffic will be averted away from the Village Centre.

His supportors club have asked all people attending to leave space around these entrances to allow ease of movement.
