Garry Dickinson Announces 2008 Plans PDF Print E-mail

Garry Dickinson, labelled by Jackie Fullerton of BBC Ireland, as the Come Back Kid, at the recent press launch for the NW200. Is pleased to announce his return at this seasons events.  

Doug Foster, of Anslow Design additionally announces the signing of Former British Champion, Garry Dickinson as their rider for 2008. Doug has been involved for a number of years with Garry, and has taken that interest one step further by supplying Garry,  Ian Hutchinson's ex Kawasaki ZXR600RR . Garry will ride this alongside his own 250 Honda concentrating primarily on the pure road circuits ie North West 200, Scarborough, UGP, S100 and Aberdare Park. Doug a former racer himself and successful businessman in his own right is said to be buzzing and excited about the forthcoming events.

Additionally we introduce Gaynor Firth as Team coordinator, who as an image consultant will be handling all PR. Gaynor has been in the racing industry all her life as her late Father raced Nortons in the sixties and together her parents were Chairman and Secretary of Nottingham Grass Track Club. Being bought up around all the major circuits, including Santa Pod, she will be responsible for ensuring the day to day smooth running of the team.

Ivor Dickinson, Garrys Father, will be responsible for the running and maintainance of the bikes, ensuring that the bikes run at their absolute best, as he has continued to throughout Garrys thirty years of racing. Garry would like to take this oppotunity to say thankyou to his parents Ivor and Ella , for their tremendous support for which he says he owes his racing career too.    

Garry would also like to thank Doug for his kind support and generosity in supplying the said Kawasaki ZXR and is looking forward to the upcoming season after an 18 month lay off due to his serious and life threatening injury  at the Ulster GP in 2006.
