Kel Edge

Nice guy and very approachable, unlike some

For many years the top man IMHO

Found myself standing next to him at a WSB round at Silverstone and had a chat (like you do) and asked him what is the best advice you would give someone and he replied " Keep pressing the button" which translates to you won't miss anything!!

Keep us posted rracergirl. Was a camera purchased :?:

Yep, we went down to Lisburn on Wednesday and bought the Canon 350d, complete with bag and then got a tamron lens for half price as well.
I think himself is gonna sit down tonight and study the instructions with a beer or 3.

if you are talking screw on filters then the size is stamped on your lense cap

if you are talking square type filters eg cokin or lee or similar then one size fits all due to the adapter system they employ

Thats a fair point. Jessops were advising to purchase the screw on filters but after paying for the camera I had no money left to buy them and felt they were a bit expensive aswell, but they had severla to choose from. Is it safe to purchase them via ebay :?:
