The Mid Antrim Club, Road Racing Section, extend a warm welcome to all for their Nineties Night in the Clough Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club on Saturday 20th March starting at 8pm.

Following last years successful Seventies night the club has skipped a decade and brought together some of the stars of the 90s for an informal chat show. Top riders like Johnny Rea Snr, Brian Reid, James Courtney, Stephen Hazlett and Ryan Farquhar are just some of the names who will recall their battles from this era to our race commentator George McCann.

The Nineties will be remembered for many reasons but the famous Regal 600 battles on roads and short circuits will sure to be a major talking point. The Nineties also provided us with the fastest ever lap round the Mid Antrim Clough circuit albeit the circuit used had no chicane in use at that time. The rider who set this record will be on the panel on the night.

Thanks to local photographer Trevor Armstrong their will be a photographic display of racing pictures from the nineties and a small display of racing bikes thanks to Roy Adams.

Rounding of the night will be a disco so we invite everyone to Clough where the admission price of only £5 goes towards the running of the 2010 Mid Antrim 150

A NIGHT WITH PHOTOGRAPHER STEPHEN DAVIDSON

THURSDAY 25th MARCH

The club are very pleased to announce that our local photographer Stephen Davidson has agreed to present a slideshow and chat about his life photographing motorcycle races around the world. Stephen is regarded as the top road racingphotographer in the world and has many stories to tell about the photographs he has taken of his friends in the sport many of which are included in the best selling books he has presented.

This night will be held in the Ecos Centre, Ballymena on Thursday 25th March .
