Since i posted the idea of raising money to try and secure this new road race there has been over 300 hits on this topic and 4 people have responded offering a donation. Admin offered help if enough interest was shown which i thought was really positive, but it looks to me as if nothing will come of it now. I am very disapointed to say the least at so little response from so many people who seem to love road racing so much. We will just have to hope that the local council show more enthusiasm.

Was not at the NI Motorcycle Festival but heard the Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club were there raising their profile and membership numbers.I know nothing about them. How does one go about supporting this worthy organisation.

Armoy motorcycle road racing club, in association with James Brothers, invite you to a night of film & craic.
the club will be taking a lighthearted look at local motorbike road racing legends for the 70's & 80's and there will be raffles and prize giveaways throughout the evening. The evening will take place in the Manor Hotel Ballymoney (which is up the street opposite the memorial garden) on Thursday 21 feb at 8pm.
the films on show will include "charge of the bike brigade" and "greasy rider"
admission is 3 quid payable at the door.
Monies raised go towards the clubs road racing fund. Everyone welcome.
