Knee injury hits Rea preparations :cry:
Rea was runner-up in this year's British Superbike Series
Jonathan Rea's preparations for his 2008 season have been upset by a knee injury which could prevent him from getting on a bike for several weeks.
Rea underwent a knee operation a fortnight ago but complications over the weekend meant that he had to return to hospital for further treatment.
The Ballyclare man is likely to have to stay in hospital for some time.
Rea finished runner-up in this year's British Superbike series behind his HM Honda team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari.

I hope his setback isn’t too long.
From what I heard it was a strange operation (but probably routine). He had to go to Holland and let them remove some cartilage and the doctors were going to grow it in a lab and then he would return and get it put inside his knee. Yuck!
