MotoGP - " a little boring" 1 Year, 2 Months ago

According to Rossi. I think he's wrong, it's really boring. Here's why.

1.Hardly any passing.Stoner running away with the races.
2.Really dull circuits. If you just switched on you would hardly know what track it was - they are mostly the same. Assen has been destroyed as well.
3. Dull riders. Excluding Rossi
4.Small grids. 15- 20 starters, need at least 24.
5. No Brits racing
6 To many has-beens racing. Checa,Barros etc. Time to move them on.

Formula 1 is more interesting at the moment - no wonder MotoGP teams struggle to get sponsorship.
Only for Toseland going next year, I wouldn't have been surprised if BBC had of scaled back coverage or dropped MotoGP.

Big changes are needed.

:bear: Sounds a little like toys out of the pram from Rossi. Of course it was never boring when Rossi was winning all the time.

I personally think it is the electronics are ruining it and that is mainly because Ducati seem to have them well sussed out and everyone else is getting left behind. I suppose one day a rider is going to give a 404 error message: response as to why he couldn’t ride the bike.

The only way to make it interesting is to get rid of the electronics and raise the engine limit up to 1300cc, and perhaps change the scoring system on par with F1.

I totally agree that a lot of the riders are dull. All of them are corporate bulls###ers (with there carefully typed politician answer), but at the end of the day the got to keep the sponsors happy, but jeez lads you could always lighten up! :weedman:

I just hope they don’t bring in that silly tyre rule that is going to ruin WSBK eventually.

the 500's were great- but could they make them any better? they dropped that class as they apparently could'nt develop them any further, and i for one dont want to watch a race full of honda bikes. (honda as they were the best).
