charity auction of TT memorabilia 1 Year ago
A good friend of ours is Auctioning off four items of TT Memorabilia in aid of the Helen Rollason Heal cancer charity- thought some of might be interested.

Elaine auctions John McGuinness memorabilia for charity

Plucky motorcyclist Elaine Bond is putting up for E-Bay Auction to the highest bidders three items personally signed by the TT lap record holder John McGuinness following his fantastic Centenary win, plus a TT T-Shirt signed by many ex TT winners who took part in this years parade of Champions.

Cancer sufferer Elaine, an Isle of Man resident, is helping to raise funds for the Helen Rollason Heal cancer charity, which raises awareness of the disease, and much-needed funds.

She joins 19 other lady biker Cancer victims on a charity bike ride from Scotland to London, starting on 26th August, and ending 1st September. The twenty brave ladies are to ride Harley Davidson’s provided by the factory, which are also putting up the funds to sponsor the cost.

The items for sale include the actual rear Dunlop sports-max tyre that John set the 130+ mph lap on in this years centenary Isle of Man TT, a centenary TT polo shirt, and a Nitro centenary Helmet, all signed by the man himself.

All proceeds of the auction will go to the charity.

So if you want to own a true piece of unique motorcycling history, and help Elaine and other cancer sufferers in their fund raising in the process, check out the auction details and get bidding!

The auction starts Monday 13th August at 8.30 p.m., and runs for 10 days- just type in “John McGuinness" or motorcycle memorabilia” and you’ll find the listings.
