I've heard rumours that next year there will be two rounds of motogp in USA. One in laguna seca and new one in Indianapolis. Also 125 and 250 are going to be back in usa for 2008.

If it wasn't for the sheer excitement of the corkscrew bends at Laguna Seca then it would be a very ordinary track....a lot of the riders say the surface is too bumpy !!!

When you see the money thats ploughed into some of the asian tracks wouldn't you think the yanks would make a decent one (don't mention indianapolis..... ) actually they could model one on our own Mondello!!!

i don't like the idea of the states hosting two gp's, it just isn't right. it will then mean the uk, germany, australia and other countries coming up to the moto gp board with complaints and their nations requesting to host an extra gp. i don't really think indianapolis motor speedway would suit a motorbike race anyway, for cars maybe, but the track's too wide, including the inland section, and i reckon they'd be better doing it at road america, or maybe a street race in new york or la would be pretty cool

So what about three rounds of Motogp hold this season in Spain and 3 rounds of Wsbk in UK and two in italy?

i heard istanbul, which is one of the best tracks in the circus, isn't gonna be used for motogp next year.
no, lets go to qatar instead, where fekk all comes to watch, and top it up by doing it in the dark aswell.

Well, as a Yank, I basically agree two events here seems much.. but I suspect that the Laguna event (they inked a 5 year deal) may not get renewed.

I met up with a nice couple from near Nottingham, and got a (polite) good ear full of how much nicer the tracks are in other places. I can not disagree.. sigh. The basic track is AWESOME and having been on the track I can tell you it is in great condition overall..! Keep in mind that the fast cars do tend to increase track maintenance in spots, but the track is truly fine indeed..! Just would be nice to get the hillsides properly mowed and put in some real toilet facilities. There has been improvments made, I hope more continue.

Any of you wanting to come over next year, holler if I can be of help, I live about 20 mintues from the track, and know the area well.
