Shaun was in the race office talking to my sister and showing her a picture of his little girl. I think the comment from Shaun was 'How can such an ugly bugger produce something so cute?'

So Shaun, you have something cute to get well for you tough old sod, now get on with it!

any update on the old boys condition as of today? as far as I am aware there has been no change? any info wud be grate.

Always hesitant about posting regarding this kind of situation but this was posted tonight on the bsb forum

This has been posted on the Performance Bikes forum by a member from New Zealand

From a local forum .....
Mum and Dad have just been to see Shaun in hospital, Mum writes:

"We have just come from the hospital. Shaun has a broken right arm,
two broken legs, broke pelvis and some missing teeth. We didn't go in
to see him as he is in the coma, even though they said we could. His
niece is with him and answering Shauns cell phone. Hopefully he will
be OK. Nasty accident though."

i hope its ok that i post this

He's in a medical induced coma and due to come out of coma on Friday.
Good news is that there is no sign of any brain or head injury so that's encouraging.
Heres hoping for a full recovery!

Thats good news that there's no sign of any brain damage,at least the breaks will mend.hope everything goes well for friday,speedy recovery Shaun.

Well, some good news!

I have been in touch with Michele, Shaun’s sister.

He went into surgery this morning… and after a long 7 hours is back in the ward.

His condition is described as serious but stable.

Keep fighting mate!
