Cookstown 1946 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
The competitor on the right was my father, Herbert Beare. He rode his bike to the race (his first road race)and got 3rd place. He passed away on 14th November 2007. I commissioned a cup in his memory for this years Cookstown 100. It was awarded to Michael Russell as he was the fastest newcomer in the 401-750cc Support Class (A & . Congratulations, Michael, and good luck in 2008! Thank you to the Cookstown Club for all their help.
