The competitor on the right was my father, Herbert Beare. He rode his bike to the race (his first road race)and got 3rd place. He passed away on 14th November 2007. I commissioned a cup in his memory for this years Cookstown 100. It was awarded to Michael Russell as he was the fastest newcomer in the 401-750cc Support Class (A & .
