Pity they didn't take a chance on Steve Brogan and promote him to the Superbike class.

brookes should, with all do respect for the bsb series, be in a world series instead.
very happy to see richards finally gets the chance he's worthy of.
surely british racing would have been way better off if hm plant would have promoted brogie to soooperbikes.

will mcG also be on hm plant 600 in the big three, or will that again be for clive?

I guess only a selected few are privvy to the conversations that go on behind closed doors at Honda.
When they interviewed Steve Brogan at Brands just after he had won the Superstock race he intimated that he was off for a meeting about next year and seemed well buzzed up.
He has nothing left to prove in the Superstocks; can only think they have a longer term deal in place with him that see's him move up to Superbikes in 2010. Or they made it financially worth his while to stay with them in Superstocks. Or perhaps he has the carrot that if one of the Superbike riders doesn't perform they will draft him in during the season. Mabye he thinks the only way to go Superbike racing is with one of the top teams and has no better offers.
All mindless speculation on my part but we will all find out in due course.
