Bad News- Jonathan Rea is moving down a class to race the 600's
Good News- It’s with Ten Kate in the World Supersport Series for the first year and then with the WSBK team the following two years.


It’s a good move for him- He has a year to learn the circuits on a good bike and then he can kick arse in the WSBK-

So why did he not want to race the Ducati he was apparently offered? (Not wanting to play second fiddle to Bayliss)

couldn't find a better team to race for outside works teams in wsbk and gp-circus.

I would rather regard it as changing class instead of moving down a class. The only part which is down is the cc of the bike but the racing is still as difficult and rider still needs the same amount of tallent to win. I think it is an excellent move for Johnny and keep this in mind. By 2010 Ten Kate honda hopes to be in moto gp. :lol:

Don't fink Ducati would have been a wise one. Stick with wat you know - Honda and HRC!

It is a good move- especially as Ducati should be rolling out a new 1200cc bike soon and that would take a year or two of development.

It will also toughen him up as the 600 races can be a real battlefield.
