John Hopkins is jumping ship at the end of the season to race for kawasaki-and i have heard rumours that caparossi might be joining them to- What will this mean for Randy De Puniet- will he get a chance to ride for a top class team that he deserves.
- this is bearing in mmy mind that i think the kwackers will shine next year-

i agree. i didn't see that one coming either.
i thought vermeulen to have been the one looking elsewhere by the end of the season.
so. maybe little randy will be in blue colours next year then?
doesn't seem like any of the other manufacturers gives too much of a feck about the french market...
it's tough to make a guess where the lolli-pop-man will go next year. i reckon he too will be headin' for motogp. and if so, i don't think he'll settle for any of the test squads out their either.
ooooops. just read at crash.net that lolli-pop-kid is in fer a spin together win rossi next year...

From the BBC website:
World 250cc champion Jorge Lorenzo will partner Valentino Rossi at the Yamaha MotoGP team next season.
The 20-year-old Spaniard, who is leading his championship again this season, has agreed a two-year deal.
"Weve been watching Jorge's career with interest for some time and we are delighted he is joining us," said Yamaha racing boss Lin Jarvis.
"We're sure he'll be a valuable asset and we look forward to the commencement of his MotoGP career."

So what will Colin Edwards do? WSBK or perhaps a couple of seasons in BSB (the best short circuit superbike championship)

well. the suzuki-squad seems set already with vermin and capirex and i would be surprised if kawasaki won't give the aussi a chance next year again along with that fearsome frog-man.
so - maybe, maybe a seat will be free next to the wild spaniard IF melandri walks to ducati???
he could probably catch a dunlop ride, but i wouldn't think he'd be interested.
if not a "factory" seat in motogp (i do count the gresini team as a factory team), well, then i think he'd move to a honda wsb spot.

Mmm Reckon Colin may go back to WSBK
All will become clear in the next few weeks
Also reckon Rossi will not be a happy chappie, got on well with Colin. Jorge may be a clash of personalities ....

Definitely a personality clash in the Yamaha camp-there will be as much competition in the after race celebrations as there will be for wins-Lorenzo is the only other guy in GPs who plans celebrations like Rossi-maybe one too many in a close environment!
Reckon Edwards will go to SBK-can't imagine any top teams offering him a ride-Dunlop would love to have him for development of their GP tyres, but apparantly the 2nd Yamaha team aren't running Dunlops next year, so who is?
SBK it will be then!
