TAS TEAM 2 Years, 4 Months ago
Anyone know what's happening for next year.

1. Are they even racing on the roads?

2. Who will be their riders ? Seems Ryan is off, will Anstey stay ?

T

hey are a very interesting team !

Would think TAS Suzuki would be aiming for big things at the TT next year must admit i am a bit surprised that Ryan may be going , without having the proper chance to show what he can do on the suzukis when fully fit .
Anstey will be a definite starter for them but dont know who else , would think maybe Mark Millar for TT & Northwest again but as a main rider to back Anstey hmmmm tough one , would have thought Farquahar would have stayed .

Hey Kawch man.
Why do you say the Suzuki's are not good enough at the moment? Proof?
On the roads this year Bruce has won on his 600 and Superstock as well as having a good run on the Superbike at the Northwest and doing a lap of 129mph at the TT which is fast. His speed trap times were also fast.(208)
In the British Supersport the TAS Suzuki 600 (in its first year) is a constant podium finisher with Tom Sykes grabbing numerous pole positions prooving the pace of the bike which isn't bad for its first year.
I hope Bruce stays because the 600 will be stronger in its second year and the new 1000 should be a strong force both in Superstock and Superbike.
Maybe one of the younger guys could take Ryans place??

Re: TAS TEAM 2 Years, 4 Months ago
At the 2006 UGP Ryan (with injuries) did better than a fit & healthy Archibald, so Ryan should be above Archibald when I comes to keeping people on at the TAS team.

However, both have new talent to contend with. It is yet to be shown whether Ryan can run with the likes of Hutchson & Donald. At the 2005 Mid-Antrim Guy Martin showed that once he learnt the course he could leave Ryan in his dust (no disrespect to Ryan, he is very much a hero of mine!). Hutchison & Donald showed they could challenge Guy Marin, so unless Ryan is 100% fit and has the same winners mentality he had throughout 2005 then he may miss out on the top podium step in 2007 regardless of machinery.

Perhaps some of these new guys might get a TAS ride as they are both talented and hungry for success. Hopefully Ryan's crash hasn't frightened him too much that he would back off if pushed too hard by other riders. Having said that, Ryan's crash wasn't his fault; he was inthe wrong place at the wrong time.

Phil

Hey Fastandy
Exactly what Suzuki's are shite and can you tell me what races you've been to this year both on roads and BSB if any?
