Having noted the comments regarding Mathers, I decided I should have a look and give you my thoughts.

To be honest, I can't see why there should be a chicane there. The corner has been re profiled ( as was the original plan ) They have built in a great deal of positive camber which will make the corner faster and safer and as for run off, there's more run off than Silverstone. Yes there is a house on the outside of the track but it is well after the corners exit and there is a lot of soft ground to travel across before you get near it.
Has anyone actually asked anyone from NW200 HQ if the chicane theory is true ?
I think they should put a chicane in before Station. There has been someone off on the exit of that corner during the last couple of days, looks like it was a car. Why put a chicane in at Station, simple. If you are going to feck up the circuit, you might as well make a proper job of it ! ( of course they should'nt put a chicane in at Station, I'm joking).
