My thought is that when all the hedges were in place at roadraces riders treated corners with respect.
Ok there were still accidents,but nowadays roadraces are being rode like shortcircuits but without the gravel traps and run off areas.

If you remove one corner you only arrive at the next one faster, and so on.

If they stick chicanes in everywhere it will end up crap.
As far as I see they only cause problems.

why is it that every post i put up, yas start bitchin??

anyway... the fact is theyre puttin something in! and id rather see them put in something worth while, much like william said himself, like a 2nd or 3rd gear chicane. Or even a mock up of magherbuoy was my thought, not too exciting! but its a layout that works, yano?

but i think drifter has a point..

p.s where's Armoy puttin in the chicane??

At Armoy just after the start/finnish line to slow down one off the best and fastest corners in the world.
These chicanes are going to be like the health and saftey people END everything.
As Scrz said do you want drag strips
