Straight up the M1, take off at the junction for Coalisland, go round the roundabout to the Coalisland turnoff, head down that road about 3/4 of a mile and there should be a signpost down that road on your left hand side somewhere

I think robert dunlop is a far bigger attraction than anyother rider there ask any house holder in Ireland and they would know him ask them the same question about donald/burrows and they would look at you as if you had ten heads. You could hardly call them stars compared to robert dunlop
Lorry, I think you are doing the people of Ireland a diservice (if that's the word) Yes, I agree that Robert Dunlop is probably the best known, but the general public know of others, if they do not then it is the fault of their sponsors, the press and the likes of ourselves. Remember that in Northern Ireland motorcycle racing is one of the top sports reported on the radio, TV and newspapers, I wonder how many other local newspapers in these islands had daily reports on the TT this month when riders from their locality were not doing very well.
Savo, nice helmet.
The weather forcast looks good for Friday and Saturday, lets hope they are right.

Not everybody involved in the sport knows who the riders are take jimmy walker for example he only knows about 5 or 6 riders in ireland(fact) as he was asked one day about a good rider in the 125 class his answer was he had never heard of him.
Just look at irish racer and road racing ireland you could have about 30 odd photos each off say archie/lougher/ansty/mccguinnes/in each magazine every month what about the guys running 5th -10th do they not matter ? do they not have sponsors too ? as far as i can see if you are a big name you get a load off coverage if you are trying your best and paying through the nose to do it you are a nothing.

Jimmy Walker - for a man supposed to be a top journalist......I do not know where he gets his stories from.

Half the stuff he writes is completely wrong. Earlier this year he had Johnny Rea on a Red Bull 600. Then he was talking about TT Formula one and production races.

He also ran an article about a rider from Donegal in the Sunday Life- it looked like an interview.....I gave the article to the rider at a trackday same day it was out and he hadnt even spoken to the him prior to running it!

Have you bought Irish Racer lately??

Irish Racer even cover the clubmans scene with reports and photos!!

Any media publication has limited space and off that available space they can only publish what they get sent, how many of these lower order riders bother to promote themselves by sending press releases etc to the media?? - in my experience very very few of them!

Oh and if you check out the coming issue of bikesport news there will be photos in it from Athea and with none of the big names getting a run out (with the exception of the 250 lads) then it should be pics of the support guys in it!

Some people will not give info to Jimmy Walker and others must tell him stories. He reports on races that he does not attend, what does that tell you.
