To quote Harry: "Hi Fans"
Seamus is still holding his own and remains critical but stable.
Over the past few days he has been breathing more and more without the ventilator, for hours at a time. I understand that the medical staff put it back on after prolonged periods to give him a rest.
Seamus's eye lids have been opening, no visible sign of reaction, and as ever the medics don't jump up and down with optimism over these things.
When I visited on Saturday (day after Senior TT) their was no visible movements or reactions.
On the following Wednesday their were a few little movements from the mouth, as if yawning and a few gasps for breath on his own.
Now, 1 week later Seamus has been breathing on his own, opening of the eyes and mouth movements.
As time goes on there seems to be more and more little movements, maybe insignificant on their own, but put together I hope progress.
Keep hope and prayer
Gavin
