Hi Guys,

Spoke to Freddy tonight and Sam F who went up to the Hospital to see the family and pass his regards. I am sure the family appreciate the good wishes and cards etc being sent and forwarded.

Visiting is very restricted at the moment because of the general risk of infections being carried etc. I don't think this is specific to Seamus, but the whole ward.

On a positive note, Seamus has been breathing on his own yesterday for while and was put back on the ventilator for a break overnight, there seems some hope that he might come off it over the next few days / week.

There has been some further movements from Seamus, eye lids have opened, but no reactions as yet.

Padraig and Freddy reckon, and I agree, that if Seamus can get onto an open ward with regular visitors, the craic is sure to help.

amen to that. i'm sure there are a hell of a lot of peeps on here that are keeping their fingers crossed for him. keep fighting seamus.
