Hi Guys,

A bit of a sobering report. I am writing this only because so many people know and love Seamus and are so concerned about him. Please do not reply to this or make it the catalyst for speculation, for your information only.

Went over to see Seamus today, and met with Freddie and Seamus' Family, who are all there. Gill & I sat for a while with Seamus and were talking to him, letting him know what's been going on and passing on best wishes from all those who have been asking after him.

Seamus had a chest infection and pneumonia on Thursday night with a high temperature, but fought this off and came back to normal stats Friday morning. There has been no reaction or sign of consciousness since the time of the accident. They have tried different types and levels of medication to help him but have now removed all sedation, so Seamus is now flying solo, except for the ventilator to help with his breathing. I expect we will know more in the next 24 to 48 hours once the sedatives have cleared the body.

The Family have been informed of all the good wishes from people who have called the hospital, sending cards and flowers and I know this has been giving support and strength.

So all I think we can do is to continue to hope and pray for Seamus.
