Word is the Belfast boat was full to the gunnels last night..........with people going home.
Also my mate is staying in a sea front hotel in Douglas he booked his room last night and the hotel is ............"empty" ( his words)
Is there anyone still there.

Hi cargo
Went over with my wee lad (18) on Thursday and came back on that boat last night.Yes it was packed but not as many bike's parked along the prom. I think a lot of folk are waiting for next year.The lad could'nt believe the place and the criac and he's been to every road race in Ireland.Booked us both for next year while there.

Yes you are probably right about next year.
I'm planning on going in 2007 with a crowd of guys and girls that went every year during late eighties early ninieties.
This year only two of us went me last week and my mate who was on last nights boat this week. For both of us work meant we could be there at same time :roll:

Most people I know only go for a few days now, where in the past they went for a week or longer, Is the cost or the lack of races

The boats are more user friendly for us over this side now. I remember you had to on the Thursday of practice week and back on the Friday morning of race week On the way home you could hear the bikes starting the senior from the boat in Douglas Bay, --- sickening
