Just putting the word out about the theft of a 250 super kart in the doagh area, Co antrim. I know it isn't a bike but, it is fitted with a twin cylnder rotax engine powered with 2 flat slide delorto carbs which may useful for someone rebuilding an old 250 racing bike. Posting this with no suspicions, just think the more people who know about it the less chance it has of being sold on. The most sickening thing is it was stole from a mans garage who died only a few weeks ago.

Out of curiosity.... who was the fella who owned it, and what happened that he passed away...? (if its not being too intrusive)

The fella who owned it is still alive and well, and kept it in his freinds garage who died only a few months after being diagnosed with cancer at aged 49. Don't really want to name him on site, but he was a front runner in are kart world for many's a year and was fondly known as the GOD FATHER after a fellow competitor once nicknamed all the rest of us from the area, the ballyclare mafia. There is a tribute in september issue of carsport mag to him and another good friend who both lossed there lives within ten days of each other. May they r.i.p

Just to let you all know, the kart was found fully intact in amongst bushes in a industrial estate near dungannon complete with leathers and helmet still sitting in the seat. Very strange!

Glad to hear it was found.
Maybe all the attention brought to this shitty act made them stay away from it.
