Pity not more pure out and out road racers haven't got biographies out. Phillip McCallens was an enjoyable read. Robert's will be a must have when it is published.
Would think John McGuinness would be of interest to publishers.
A book I would love to see would be a compilation of Irish Road Racers. Possibly detailed individual chapters on some of the stars past and present.
It is fascinating to get an insight into what makes these guys tick on a more in depth basis.
Or a different angle could be putting together a history of the sport up to the present day mixed in with all sorts of anecdotes from people who have been involved with the sport. Theres got to be some really good tales to tell in there.
