That's a very good point about engine tune. Didn't he have a same probelm with AIM Yamaha..he wanted the engines tuned higher than the team did ?

James Ellison's machinery is more reliable.

At the Northwest a broken hose clip had him on his hoop, hardly engine failure, very rarely did the bike sh#t its pants, it was related components, I think the man knows more than us lot about building road race engines!! The other bikes he built for the same races (NW200, TT) finished all the races with other riders on board.

This thread seems to have changed from Hutchy to Guy Martin, I am right in thinking this or am I just easily confused?

alot of folk talking bout Guy's honda's....if Guy Martin had stuck with Uel Duncan He'd have had his TT win he so desperately wants. Gary Johnson will be on the podium next year if Uel can get some new bikes and some proper Honda backing. They've been the most consistant Honda team in the paddock for the past 3 or 4 seasons!!

I think anyone with a Honda and a chance of a podium at next year's TT will get backing, of all years they not want to be beaten.

It's now 2:30 and I am still confused.
