This evening's rescheduled Senior Manx Grand Prix has been called off due to the poor weather conditions.
The news was broken by Manx Radio's Sports Editor Tim Glover live on air as the announcement came over the tannoy at the Grandstand just after 5.30pm: (audio clip attached)
The Senior and combined Ultra Lightweight / Lightweight races will now go ahead tomorrow morning with roads due to close at 9.30.

Don't know the full facts about Fridays racing at the Manx, but I kepted getting updates that it was on, then off, then on, and then off again. Sounds like a balls up of a day to be honest....

Roads will close at 11.00 am with the intention of starting the 3 lap Senior Manx Grand Prix at 12 pm, followed by the 3 lap Lightweight race and concluding with the 25th Anniversary Classic Parade (weather permitting).
Starting to sound like yesterday all over again.
