It's getting to that time of year again where things step up a gear in organising one of Ireland's largest motorcycling fundraising events. Spaces are filling up fast (bigger & Better than previous years) with the popularity of the event growing once again this year, where we would like to encourage anyone wishing to take part in this years worthy "Annual Across Ireland" Run in Aid of the Make-A-Wish Foundation to log on to our website

With spaces filling at a faster rate than ever before,you could help us to help you by registering as early as possible for your sponsorship pack etc.. this will help us greatly with the over all logistics with putting an event of its size together, such as Pre booking Accommodation, ordering T-Shirts, Badges, Refreshments, Paperwork etc..etc.. .
Media Coverage;(Some Off) This year the event has a whole lot more to offer in terms of free T-Shirts, Badges, stickers, prizes , refreshments ,Street entertainment, as well as additional media coverage (Radio & T.V) we have the 98FM Road caster going 'live On Air' the morning of the event (Sat 30th August) from 9am to 1.00pm at the Mansion House (Dawson street) plus on the other side (Eyre Square, Galway) we shall have the Galway Bay FM Road caster going out 'Live On Air' in the afternoon. We shall have coverage on T.V3 in June (17th Am) building up the event and again on the event in 30th & 31st of August, in addition we shall have the crew from Avcom Audio & Visual.
We also have a number of Celebrities taking part and helping out on the event, like Daithi O'Shea (T.V) Lucy Kennedy (T.V) Keith Barry (Magician) Dylan Bradshaw (Celeb Hair Stylist) to name but a few. We shall be filming the entire event this year also, thanks to our friends in Avcom Sound & Vision for their support, which will include the launch from Dawson street, Along the Route, Towns & Villages, Eyre Square & The Function in Galway etc.. so make sure you have the hair done, best clobber on and stay alert as you never know who watching (or it could even be you interviewed on the event).
First up best dressed; With the large amount of bikers taking part in this years event our friends from the Garda Traffic Division have agreed to Close off Marlboro Street in addition to Dawson street, so that every one can fit in comfortably and have plenty of space. So with this in mind we may use the main area (Dawson street) as the pre paid/pre signed on area & late comers in Marlboro street (so please please register as early as possible) and help us to help you enjoy the weekend with minimal of disruption & maximum enjoyment, oh and the early pre paid bikers get a whole lot of goodies free, yes "free" by turning up early on the day also (as 98fm have bags of free-B's to give out to people taking part in the A.A.I event 08.
So remember; Log On and Pre Register as soon as possible (please)
The early bird catches the best worms (prizes, free-B's)
Turn up as early as possible on the Saturday morning (big No's taking part)
Keep an eye out in the Media for up dates (T.V,Radio,Magazines etc..)

In addition, this 'one off' montage of Robert Dunlop pictures, containing his very own 'Foster Grant' trade mark sunglasses,(complete with Roberts DIY repair, tie wire), and 2004 International Racing licence, will be auctioned off in Galway, on the 30th August... a really unique and desireable piece of racing icon history...
