Nice quote that, that Martin sent the sun down Jean!
Racing was fantastic, even in the support classes with a few hairy moments at Dublin corner. Both Dunlops did so well! We got a dry run down friday, watched some practices, went into Lusk, spent an hour or two there then headed back to the paddock to pitch our tents and thats when the heavens started to open! That rain kept me awake most of the night! I was a amazed when it started to dry up round 10am! And for it to rain right at the impromtu unfortunate end of the day. The grandstand gossip was riff - we had heard 2 riders were down, it was gary, it was keith, then word filtered through it was one of Barrys sponsors. I pray he will make a speedy recovery.
I didnt know what this year would be like, but you just had to look around the crowds and count the #45 baseball hats, shirts, fleeces to see that Martin was still with us! Even the vans in the paddock had little 45s on them!
was an amazing day, suprisingly great weather, got fried to a crisp many photo's , the 600's were incredibly quick this year, nobody was letting up at all on the throttle. my thoughts are with the vicims though, any word at all??
