Drunken W###ers could'nt ruin my day 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago

I had a fantastic day today! Racing was awesome. Awesome!
I was at University corner and had to take my hat of to the rider who highsided and then ran along side his bike and appeared to guide it away from hitting the spectators.
Unfortunately i was beside a bunch of drunken **nts who set up a gazeebo and then started getting severly drunker. One of them stole a kids football and then they kicked it into the middle of the road just missing the riders during the 400 race. After the race the police came down to check them out and they must have realised they were out numbered and they just ignored them.
Then they started chanting about religion and race and one the drunken yobs charged at some spectator minding his own business and rugby tackled him. Thankfully a fight did not break out.
After they had finished there drinkning session they left all their rubbish lying everywhere and then almost got hit by a train.
I was talking to others and we realised it was the exact same dicks who where there last year.
Why cant they be banned. I actually saw them earlier in the day loading a large mail bag full of drink. Surely the police or someone could have a checkpoint on the way into the circuit and stop these people before the do some real harm.

Why do these w####rs even come to the racing??? I was parked in my aunts driveway in portrush overnight only to come out this morning to find that some of these tossers on their way back to the campsite at the top of glenmanus rd had come into her garden ripped off my rear number plate and gone to the toilet on the side of my car. Why would any one do this??? Very annoyed this morning, these idiots should be banned from the road races.
i was sat at the exit to juniper hill all day and one family spent the entire day playing football on one of the greens on the golf course, their ball constantly hit race fans watching the races, an elderly couple, a baby in a pram and anyone else passing, why bother coming???
sorry to moan on such a fantastic and emoitional day but it really got to me today, maybe i'm just getting old!!

were these the people who made the train do an emeregnecy stop on the way into Portrush....? I was stood on the link road all day and saw some folk running in front of the train.
Also saw the tail end of the 'highside' guy incident - he seemed to be very apologetic to the crowd!!!
None the less a fantatic day - a day that will live in the memory for many many years to come - as will tomorrow (Sunday) for different reasons

MSC, I was at University too but after the corner and had a good view of those tools all day. They spent most of the day pissing up the side of their own tent. Morons.
The racing was fantastic-very memorable day for all the right reasons.
My heart was really in my mouth when the ball went on to the track though. If the police feel anyone is a danger they should just bung them all in the back of a wagon and let them spend a night recovering at Her Majesty's pleasure. I'm sure backup wouldn't take long to arrive. Can't see anyone getting away with that sort of behaviour at the TT!
I really felt for the marshalls there too. We were there quite early and got right beside a roped off area which was clearly prohibited. All day people were pushing in in front of us and having to be moved from it. Every time the marshalls turned their backs more people moved in. When both sides of the link road are packed all the way along loads of people seemed to think they had just stumbled upon great luck by finding a totally empty 10m stretch right after the exit of the corner with everyone else deciding to stand behind a fairly obvious wire!

Absolute idiots. They completely degrade road racing and it's only a matter of time until they cause a serious accident. It desparately needs to be addressed.

Top quality racing all day yesterday in every class but I stayed away and will probably stay away next year again. I haven't bothered going to the NW for the last couple of years purely due to the amount of drunken morons that it attracts. You don't see this carry on at any other road race.
I think this is a real issue with the NW and needs to be tackled by the organisers. A new position should be created on the organising commitee for someone to oversee the spectators and liase with police and stewarts around the circuit etc to remove these ***** before they end up causing a tragedy.

just a quick reply on this one, i have noticed over the past few years various signs in the portrush area, and especially the coast road area, stateing that it is an alchol free area, seems by postings here that it dosnt apply to the north west, fines ranging to something like £500, looks like there only up for show.
