Like his older brother and cousin Dunlop Junior has been the brighest road prospect to have come out of Northern Ireland in years for crying out. Critical views on young Dunlop ?. Thats a first. Yikes, if he reads these forums just laugh it off !!!! This forum is going to explode. Was his first race not as recent as the Cookstown in 2006 ? Within a very short space of time he has progressed and progressed into a very competent rider and a firm favorite with race fans............this kid will only improve with age. Being very callious, apart from John Burrows, how many more road men from Ulster with raw talent have progressed so impressively since 2006 . Answers on the back of a stamp too......................

I think your right savo hes a very recent addition to the roads and i think older bro although a class rider himself could have some catching up to do by the end of this season i have been watching road racing for the past 20 years and have never seen a rider hit the scene in such a short space of time with such a such a big bang i say fair play to the lad and long may it last

Can't add to what's been said in this thread, he's a pure class racer on strokers and diesels alike!

Re:M DUNLOP 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago
It was magical that win. Rarely have I felt so emotional at a race meeting. I was so down heading over there, arrived just before the first race and could not believe the Dunlops were out on the sighting lap. Then to see Michael ride so well. He was not going to be denied on that last lap.

The rest of the day and the meeting didn't matter a jot to me. It was all about showing support for the sport and getting over this very difficult period. There was no celebrating by me other than to cheer Michael home. Let's not forget William, had his bike not expired I bet he would have gone for it. It's impossible to keep good men like that down. Those Dunlops are made of magic.
