Hi guys, I want to introduce You the best road race in Continent. Horice circuit - we say little TT - is very difficult. Lenght 5150 m, 15 curves on right, 11 curves on left, vertical distance 90 m.
Some information about race :
We started to race in 1961, this year it will be 46th aniversary. Name "300 curves" this race got in past because of for example class 250 ccm raced 16 laps (26 curves per lap, so 26 times 16 is more than 300 - is it clear?)
There started more than 1000 riders from Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Finnland, Sweden, Danemark, Norge, Italy, Belgium,Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Svitzerland etc. From Ireland there started I think only one rider - Tony Carey (80 years).
Race classes : GP125 + GP250, 125 sportproduction, supermono, open 600 (supersport, superstock600 and open 1000 (superbikes, superstock1000)
Besides "fast" race we have race for classics. This race belong to Europian classic cup and start three weeks after.

HOT NEWS FROM HORICE :

Victor Gilmour is looking forward to show us how to ride road race and that year will be standing on grid of 300 Zatacek ! We are looking forward to see irish specialist on our track.
Natalie and Wolfgang Schuster from Germany both very fast riders of 250cc will come as well. Who from you was in Frohburg last year - know who they are.
Riders from racing team equipe37 will come as well. Riders Axel Rauch, Florian Lupfer- Kusenberg (both from Germany) and Matthijs van den Wall (from Nederland) have big experience from NW200, UlsterGP, IOMTT, Southern100.

Rico Penzkofer and Steve Mizera (both from GER) will be on grid in Horice !

Rico is winner from 2006 in 600cc class and he has big experience from MacauGP, IDM ...
Steve is great rider from World endurance. In Horice he was in 2005 and he was very favourite because of his style

Horice is small town about 100km far from Prague.In Horice live about 10000 people. More than 15000 people come every year to see the best road race in Continent
Track is very difficult but very nice and very favourite. Horice race is Czech home silver. There is big atmosphere in paddock, in track in all town for all weekend. Horice is heaven for road races fans ! Half of the track is in town, half in open area. Everywhere are nice czech girls and good and chip czech beer.













Many irish road races fans are going to see our race this year and test czech beer and someone will test czech girls (maybe )

Hi moto fans,
I've created a website www.300zatacek.cz with pictures, videos and other information about the "coolest" road race on the continent, 300 zatacek Gustava Havla, Horice, Czech Republic. The site will be continously be updated!
